About Argyll and Isles Travel

Andrew J. Pease was born and raised in the tiny West Coast village of Tayvallich, a community of just 200 people nestled between the Sound of Jura and the ancient lands of Knapdale. His childhood unfolded among sea lochs, fishing boats, and the windswept hills of Taynish—the estate that he grew up in belonging to the family.

He attended a village school with only 12 pupils, where community mattered more than size, and every face was familiar. Andrew later left home to pursue further education in Glasgow and Edinburgh, studying accounting and beginning his career as a management consultant.

What followed was a remarkable global journey: professional chapters in Amsterdam, Dublin, London, Seattle, and now Florida, where he retired and started Pease & Partners LLC with his wife Lila, its travel division Pease Premium Travel.

Yet no matter how far he traveled—Andrew never lost his connection to Argyll. Every return home reaffirmed the same truth: Argyll wasn't just where he was from. It was the place that shaped him.

Argyll & Isles Travel was born from that lifelong bond. Andrew created the brand to share the landscapes, stories, and hidden corners of his homeland with travelers seeking something deeper than a standard itinerary. His approach blends global executive experience with the authenticity of someone who grew up knowing every bend in the road, every tide in the loch, and every family who shaped the community.

Today, Andrew curates bespoke journeys across Argyll and the islands of Jura and Islay, and the ancient kingdom of Dalriada—inviting travelers to experience the West Coast not as tourists, but as welcomed guests in a place he still calls home.
